The Final Destination 3D

Review:     1 Star

Seeing how much this movie is making is just plain dumbfounding.  The only thing I think that really draws the attention is because of the series and that fact of the 3D.  The storyline is weak and the characters interaction between the anticipated ‘who gets it next’ is so bad its laughable.

Not even worth renting this one. The only reason I gave it one star is because the 3D gore was fun.

Inglorious Bastards

Review:     5 Stars

Quentin Tarantino’s best movie since Kill Bill.  It ranks right up there with  Pulp Fiction.  Inglorious Bastards, (staring Brad Pitt),  has  a great combination of all Tarantino’s traits in previous films.  Nothing bad to say about this film, however that might be a bit bias considering I’m a Quintin Fan.  This is one to add to the collection.

Well worth the tick price to see in the theatre.

District 9

Review:     4 Stars

This is one of the most interesting movies I have seen.  I enjoyed this movie for many reasons and can’t say what I liked the best about it.  Even though the film is outstanding, I find myself pondering the ultimate question, was it worth seeing in the theatre.  Well…. Yes and No.  Yes, because of  reasons already mentioned and because it is such a unique film that is so enjoyable to watch.  No, because if you have a nice 32 inch w i d e screen TV, your going to enjoy the film just as much as in the theatre.  Nothing will be missed on a small screen, so… I’m leaning a little more to being a great renter.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

Review:     3 Stars

Surprisingly Fun Movie, some poor CGI effects, but, overall it was a good fast paced movie with lots of action.  I didn’t feel too bad paying to see it in the theatre.  It would make a good renter,  nothing to spectacular that you will miss from the big screen.

More of a renter then anything,  but it was still a fun movie.

G-Force

Review:     2 1/2 Stars

Silly goofy and cheesy,  however quit entertaining all the way through, it kept even the younger kids attention.  As a Walt Disney Film, I thought it could have been done a lot better.  Not a lot of humor directed for adults watching this kids film but I did crack a few smiles.  Good cute film and should do well on the DVD release, which leads me to the end of this review,  Wait for the DVD
