All of our Critics have various backgrounds and have all seen at least one movie. As said in the ‘About This Site‘ the Did It Suck Critics are just average Joe’s and Jane’s that love movies. They all have something to contribute, not because they all have a film degrees or are actors, but because their not. OK, enough small talk and lets get on to why you’re on this page.

Dan Kersey

Hi everyone, thanks for coming to Did It Suck. I’m the guy behind the idea and concept of this site, powered by talented friends in the Social Media Industry. This site has been a long time coming for me, and I hope you enjoy this site for what it’s intended for … to help the average movie patron save their money or spend it wisely.

I have over 15 years of background in the IT industry which started out primarily in the computer hardware sector building, repairing and selling PCs. Over the past 15 years my skill-set has progressed further into a professional career in which I established my own successful business providing on site and remote support for computer repairs, networking, sales and more. In some ways this website is an extension of my business in providing customer support.

I have always enjoyed movies, but not only for their entertainment value. Movies can provide an artistic way of telling a story in many different forms. Movies can take you to places where only the imagination lives.

I wanted to provide a website service that made sense, a service that helps people by providing a realistic view when it comes to movies. This is where the main concept of ‘Was It Worth a Ticket’ comes into play. Movie prices aren’t getting any cheaper and people want to get their money’s worth of entertainment out of every penny they spend at movies.
